These Water filtration systems offer an alternative to water damage cause by several causes. This solar distiller can creat water deliver of .5 GPH www.greenpowerscience.com There are a lot of websites that quote the same incorrect information regarding distilled water in soda and mineral leaching. If this were true, and it is not, the aluminum would be leached and water with sugar, or artificial sweetener would become heavy. If you are concerned, add 10mg Na to each liter. Also, eating food with water, all minerals are mixed with fluid in the stomach converting distilled water into mineral water. Distilled water is not magic, if you add a splash of milk to tea made with distilled water, you now have 10x the calcium of regular mineral water. www.eves-best.com Distilled water is very good for you. The only areas it may cause a problem is developing nations that have near famine conditions. For the rest of the world who usually ingest 15x the sodium recommended, distilled water leaches salt first. ONLY IF you are salt deprived (extremely rare) will distilled water leach excess potassium and or calcium. You would need to drink about 2 gallons in 10 hours for there to be a problem. If heavy sweating, water of any kind is only a thirst quencher or temporary fluid fix. Most people can afford 7 pounds of sweat (near gallon) replaced with only water before electrolytes become an issue. At that point, electrolytes are needed regardless of water type ingested. Mineral water has ...

@tjwano I would go for reverse osmosis setup to remove/purify well water. It will remove arsenic from your well water and it will improve taste. You only need to replace the cartridges once in awhile, also there are some cheaper kits on Ebay.

@GREENPOWERSCIENCE Ive been drinking distilled water for 7 months now, I feel perfectly fine. In-fact I cant even drink fluoridated/chlorine tap water anymore it just tastes like medicine. I usually put some bicarbonate soda, to raise the PH, sea salt and epsom salt to add some electrolytes back in. Its tasty!! Also its not the best sight when you see yellow chemical leftovers from distillation.

  3. tjwano

distillation does not get rid of any arsenic contamination, does it? any suggest how to get drinking water from well water with high level of arsenic contamination.

  4. bobo007xx

@poltergeistish they dont distill.and u r forgetting about human evil and corruption.

  5. bobo007xx

    @jduenes88 this is doing both!!sunpower!!

  6. cdltpx

Floks that are alarmed know this a coffe filter and a few hours in uv light will make that water safe to drink as long as it does not have agricultural runoff in it. A problem in Florida because of the sugar plantations. The USA subsidizes the sugar industry to grow sugar while they invest millions trying to prevent loss of the everglades it is stuck on stupid retarded. Exactly why this country is going broke they all know what is up but no one wants to give due to lobbyists.

  7. leltard

does distilling it not kill baceria?

  8. windofthegods

    Thanks great info

  9. jduenes88

@greenpowerscience : why do you need to use the UV exposure? its kind of repetitive. extremophiles that could actually survive past 100 deg C are extremely rare and those that are are not pathogens. 99.9% of proteins denature at that temp which would kill the organisms just by boiling them.

    GOOD JOB !

  11. poltergeistish

    @GREENPOWERSCIENCE
    interasting, I didn’t knew that!
then WHY do countries in Africa (on commercials) with a lot of sun have a problem with diarrhea and other diseases from drinking contaminated water if it’s so safe and simple?
not attacking you just I need a logical explanation

  12. fabrix7777

@villebraquin it’s just water without mineral salts.

  13. MrCipres0

@rz223 the plastic breaks down and goes into the water if u do that, probly worse than tap at that point

  14. hateliberals1

why the boom boom music, kinda makes one loose confidence in your presentation…

  15. rz223

    use plastic bottle

  16. ckpeltomaa

A bit of a problem. The heated water bottle needs more “head room” between the water being boiled and the copper pipe. Otherwise the heat will just push untreated water through the line. The steam is the only thing that should be going up the copper tube. As set up the hot water expand and gets pushed up the tube untreated.
This would not be good as you would be pumping untreated water. User a taller bottle with only a small bit of tube peeking into the colored bottle seal to collect the steam.

  22. LOSMATALIGALIVE

What is the name of the bigger glass?

  23. MasqueradeOfTruth

    i like this video alot

  24. Scrap5000

One last thing: You should add a few grains of salt to any distilled water, otherwise it will be like drinking free radicals, and you don’t want that.

  25. primoknoxville

I hear he died from diarrhea. Hey at least he tried.
