Solar Prominence Eruption - 30 hour sun storm - September 26 - 27, 2009
“The twin STEREO spacecraft (called Behind and Ahead denoting their relative positions in space), now almost 120 degrees apart, captured this large and dramatic prominence eruption over about a 30-hour period between Sept. 26-27, 2009. Prominences, called filaments when they are viewed against the surface of the Sun, are clouds of cooler gas suspended above the Suns surface by magnetic forces. This erupting prominence was large enough that both spacecraft were able to observe it for hours on end, one of the first times that has occurred.” “From the Behind perspective (on left) the long filament, darker than the Suns surface, can be seen rising up and then breaking away, spreading out above most of the Suns surface. As seen from the Ahead spacecraft (right), the filament is seen in profile and is therefore called a prominence. The very large cloud lifts up, breaks away, and heads out into space. The phenomenon immediately reminded me of how God, in the Quran, describes the eruptions of Hell & how the unbelievers will see it on the day of judgement.
The describtion in Arabic is amazingly eloquent to the point that I cannot efficiently translate it, but the verses are in the Quran: 32-33 Surat AlMorsalat.

The 360 spin thing that happened yesterday scared the shit out of me! I didn’t read the post on the news page and I thought the Sun was spinning violently out of control!
A Coronal Mass Ejection(CME) seems like a real possibility for 2012.Web Bots have been getting info since the late 1990’s that we will be experiencing a large event connected to the Sun. The last big CME that hit Earth was in 1859 where all the US telegraph wires threw so many sparks that there were thousands of grass fires. The CME provides an EMP that causes huge current flow in anything that will carry electricity. Humans are safe but all electrical and electronics and satellites burn out.
